  Awesome friendly find in Punta Gorda. Even though they didn't have the Gentle Leader in the popular size I was looking for they referred me to another local shop as I would prefer not to drive to the corporate Petco in Port Charlotte. More of a groomer but their inventory was fairly priced if you want to save a drive and support a local independent business.

  I had a very similar experience as Nick did last season. My mini Schnauzer had gone to Peggy's several times and his report card was he was an angel. The last time it said he was a problem. When I got home he had been nicked on his belly and had dried blood there. While I know those things happen, no one even bothered to tell me about it or why he suddenly wasn't good. I left a message for the owner to find out more and never received an return call. He gets cut up north regularly and has always been good during grooming. I no longer take him here for his grooming.
